Hugh Jackman Is People’s Sexiest Man Alive 2008

So Hugh Jackman has just been named People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2008. No surprises there, because over the years, he has been regularly making women and gay men alike swoon, wheher he plays the ultra tough and testosterone-laden Wolverine in the X-Men movies or the gay singer-songwriter in the stage musical The Boy From Oz.

He’s also some sort of a triple threat, because aside from his above average acting chops, he can sing and dance as well. Make that a quadruple threat, because he’s equally adept at wielding weapons that pop out of his arms at will. That’s not really something you can say of the guys he beat out for the top spot, such as Jon Hamm, Zac Efron, Robert Buckley, Blair Underwood, Ed Westwick, Michael Phelps, Daniel Craig, Blake Shelton, Lang Lang, Mark-Paul Gosslear, Javier Bardem, Robert Pattinson, Joshua Jackson and David Beckham. And don’t go asking me who more than half of these men are because I absoutely have no idea (Blake Shelton? LANG LANG?!).
