Johnny Depp as Sweeney Todd
It’s always a delight to see Johnny Depp and Tim Burton work together on a film.
Their nth collaboration, the film adaptation of the Stephen Sondheim musical Sweeney Todd, is bound to be another fun ride for fans of the duo, who gave us such treats as Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hollow and most recently, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Sweeney Todd, however, will probably be much more gory than their other projects.
For those who have no idea what the heck Sweeney Todd is, just watch that stage musical scene towards the end of Ben Affleck’s Jersey Girl and you’ll get the idea.
