Supergirl in Smallville
Fans of the pre-Superman TV series Smallville will be absolutely delighted to know that Kal-el is no longer alone.
Starting next season, Smallville will be introducing Kara, Clark Kent’s cousin who is known to DC Comics fans as Supergirl. To be played by Canadian actress Laura Vandervoort, Kara is expected to make the show’s seventh season a lot more interesting, the way The Green Arrow, Cyborg and Aquaman invigorated the previous season. Being a Kryptonian herself, Supergirl has all of Clark’s powers, and a whole lot more.
