With today’s skyrocketing airline ticket prices, what this American man has done is beginning to sound like a pretty good idea.
By tying 105 large helium-filled balloons to his lawn chair, Kent Couch was able to travel as far as 300 kilometers. Read the crazy story here.
By the way, this isn’t actually the brightest idea if you want to save on air fare. Couch was fined $1746 for violating air traffic rules. So stick with planes. They’re definitely safer and cheaper.
