The New Batsuit

I have virtually given up on the Batman film franchise ever since Joel Schumacher took over the directing chores and gave us two unbelievably bad sequels, especially the one with Arnold Schwarzengger spewing endless ice-related jokes that have left me cold (sorry, just couldn’t resist).

But a young upstart named Christopher Nolan, who directed such dark and brilliant films such as Memento and Insomnia, has injected new life into the series with Batman Begins, arguably the best comic book superhero movie ever, Katie Holmes‘ presence notwithstanding. I became a Batman fan once again, and very excited about Nolan’s and Christian Bale’s second Batman film, The Dark Knight.

And just like every other Batman movie, a lot of things about it got an upgrade, including the Batsuit. Check it out and see it has no nipples or bulges typical of previous Batsuits. And just like they did in Batman Begins, I bet this Batsuit’s gonna have more logical and scientifically plausible functions.

After the suckfest that was Spiderman 3 and that stupid Fantastic Four sequel, we need a really decent superhero movie, and I’m hoping The Dark Knight would be it.
